One of earlier dalliances with texture. Was into large canvases. This one’s 48x48. Sat for about 15 years in my office, which we just evacuated due to COVID. Found we could work just as well virtually. Meanwhile, she’s home now so I thought I’d give her a story. She’s a delightful date who occupies a wall beautifully. Says little but has that look you can’t unsee.

For those interested (or not), I was born in Los Angeles. Awarded a fellowship to the University of California, Irvine where I earned an MFA. After Irvine, over a span of 14 years teaching poetry and creative writing at UCLA, UC Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, San Diego State University and Santa Monica College.
