For those interested (or not), I was born in Los Angeles. Awarded a fellowship to the University of California, Irvine where I earned an MFA. After Irvine, over a span of 14 years teaching poetry and creative writing at UCLA, UC Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, San Diego State University and Santa Monica College. Thank you so much. If you see a fox there's probably a hen in her too! The elephant was a surprise. I didn't know it was in the picture until I had finished. That's the way it is with a cloudy brain.
