Another character who asked to come out and play. So many singing in my wee brain. I'm never sure what they look like until they hit the page. For anyone curious -- and why would you be? -- I drag around an 18 x 24 watercolor pad and tons of markers so my wife can shop in peace. I have a very large stack of drawings, which speaks, I'm afraid, to her "interest" in browsing the aisles of department stores. I have a particular interest in mannequins, since they may be my primary partners on these excursions.

For those interested (or not), I was born in Los Angeles. Awarded a fellowship to the University of California, Irvine where I earned an MFA. After Irvine, over a span of 14 years teaching poetry and creative writing at UCLA, UC Irvine, Loyola Marymount University, Pepperdine University, San Diego State University and Santa Monica College.
